Dear Glendale Customer,

Crude oil prices have risen 65% from a year ago. While we hope that the prices stabilize, things could get worse before they get better.

Many analysts believe crude oil prices will continue to rise in the short term. This is just as upsetting to us as it is to you. When prices go crazy like this, it is not local oil dealers who make the money. In fact, it is just the opposite.

We want you to know that we are on your side during these difficult times. Many local oil dealers have worked hard to help their customers save money and ease the impact of these very high prices. But the truth is, there are limits to what we can do in the current environment.
The surge in prices will pose significant problems for all types of fuel companies. Because of this, it is important for you to have a strong relationship with an oil company you trust-one that will be there for you no matter what happens.

If the energy “bubble” bursts and the oil prices drop, no one will be happier than Glendale to share the good news. And, regardless of where prices are, you’ll find we are ready to do whatever it takes to keep your family safe and warm.

Conservation Makes Sense

Now is the time to invest in high efficiency equipment to heat and cool your home. As energy prices rise the only way we can save is to use less.

Example: an older furnace rated 100,000 BTU input rating and rated at 70% efficiency will deliver 70,000 btu’s to the living space. 30,000 Btu’s are wasted up the chimney (some furnaces may be only 50-65% efficient). The federal energy standard is a minimum of 80% annual fuel utilization efficiency (A.F.U.E.)- Thermo Pride’s new OH6EMC variable speed oil furnace has a AFUE rating of up to 87.9%.
It’s obvious the sooner you replace inefficient equipment the more you will save and conserve our natural resources.

Choose a full service company.

You have heard us refer to ourselves as a full service company in the past, but why is that so important? Automatic Refill Service forecasts when your next delivery should be so you don’t have to measure your tank and call. All of our certified technicians are employed by Glendale, we don’t contract out service or installs to an another company. That way we control the quality of our workmanship. Glendale offers a variety of payment plans from discount for cash, to budget accounts, which spread the cost over a twelve-month period. When you call Glendale you can be sure that we can handle it. It feels good to know that no matter why you are calling, you can trust the person on the other end to help you. Thank you for calling!

Reminder:
Don’t forget to change your furnace filters! Dirty filters restrict the airflow through your furnace fan and reduce efficiency.

Indoor Air Pollution:

Glendale Heating has a new tool to check the quality of the air inside your home. Its called Air Advice. It works through the homeowner’s telephone line to Air Advice’s main computer. This will not disrupt any internet or phone use in the house. The unit operates by continually monitoring the air quality in the home for three days. The information is downloaded to provide a report on the home’s indoor air quality. The information is then used to decide what equipment is needed to remedy indoor air pollution problems. Call us today if you are ready to upgrade your existing heating or cooling system.
